The Christmas Dinner Meal Box

The Christmas Dinner Meal Box items are in! Fresh Food Weekly is happy to announce that the items for our annual Christmas dinner meal box have been determined and this year, our recipients are going to have an extra special Christmas dinner! And this year, we're hoping to raise enough money to do 100 meal boxes!

These Christmas dinner meal boxes will be delivered on Monday, Dec. 19th, 2022, periodically throughout the day, with the first deliveries taking place at 11am. We are still looking for volunteers to help out with some food pickups on Friday, Dec. 16th, as well as with some meal box deliveries on the 19th. Christmas Dinner Meal Box Items

  • Turkey

  • A dozen farm fresh eggs

  • A wedge of premium, Dutch Mild Gouda cheese

  • One pound of salted or unsalted butter

  • 4L of either 1% or 2% milk, or 2L of lactose-free milk

  • 1L of egg nog

  • One box of Stove Top stuffing mix (Turkey flavoured)

  • Club House Turkey gravy packet

  • One can of Ocean Spray cranberry sauce

  • One loaf of bread (eight choices to choose from)

  • Dinner rolls (choice of white or brown) or pumpernickel bread

  • One box of clementines

  • Brussel sprouts

  • Two pounds of carrots

  • Two pounds of onions

  • Two pounds of beets

  • Apple pie

  • Portuguese pastries and/or butter tarts

  • Muesli morning rounds

  • Gluten-free pasta

If you would like to sponsor a low-income family living in Barrie with a Christmas dinner meal box, the cost is $50 and you can send an e-transfer to: We can also issue you a charitable tax receipt for your donation as well! Just send Leah an email (to the same email) with your first and last legal name, and your address.
